Y Schools Queensland Logan Junior is where energy meets opportunity!
Our vibrant campus, a repurposed gym, is unique as it boasts the only fully functional pool at Y schools Queensland, enhancing our physical activity programs. The atmosphere here is fun, safe, and supportive, making it the perfect place for students to thrive.
We pride ourselves on our innovative approach to education, especially for disengaged youth. Our successful programs include pioneering VET tasters, which have boosted our students’ soft skills in various vocational areas like engineering and hospitality. At Logan Junior, we understand that every young person’s journey is different. That’s why we collaborate closely with local agencies like Street Uni and Headspace, ensuring our students receive the multifaceted support they need to engage and excel.
Whether it’s through physical activities or tailored educational experiences, we are dedicated to providing real opportunities for all our students to develop into well-rounded members of the community.

DAMIAN YATES
Hi, I’m Damian, the Head of Campus at Y Schools Queensland Logan Junior. With over 10 years of experience in education, I’ve dedicated my career to working with disengaged youth. My time at Y Schools Queensland has given me a unique perspective, allowing me to tackle challenges head-on and help students find their passions.
I’m passionate about creating a safe and energetic environment where every student feels valued. My mission is simple: “What supports can we provide for this young person?”
I believe in the tagline ‘a real opportunity’ and strive to ensure that every student sees the potential for success in their journey.
I invite prospective students and their families to come on down and have a chat. We’re always happy to give tours and discuss how we can help your child thrive in our community.
