Head of Campus / School
As the Head of Campus /School, you will be entrusted with shaping the strategic direction of your campus while also effectively managing the day-to-day operations of your site. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional education and care while safeguarding children is maintained at the forefront of all endeavors. This role demands a perfect blend of strategic thinking, financial acumen, personnel leadership, and a passion for education.
Teacher

Relief Teacher
Similar to our permanent teaching roles your role will encompass supporting the delivery of exceptional academic and wellbeing programs and vocational training initiatives. Our relief roles support each of our campuses at your convenience.
Youth Worker
Our youth worker roles are based in the classroom and involves actively supporting teachers and vocational students in the planning, delivery, and enhancement of academic learning, wellbeing, and vocational programs. Additionally, you will play a vital role in the support, case management, and mentorship of disengaged students, fostering intentional relationships to identify and address their strengths, passions, interests and unmet needs.
Casual Youth Worker
Similar to our permanent teaching roles your role will encompass supporting the delivery of exceptional academic and wellbeing programs and vocational training initiatives. Our relief roles support each of our campuses at your convenience.
Counsellors
Working within a multidisciplinary team, Wellbeing Counsellors achieve long term outcomes through provision of psychological and counselling interventions with individuals aimed at tackling mental health problems and reducing barriers to education. They design and deliver preventative and early intervention group programs and develop staff capabilities in YMCA framework.
Caseworkers
Wellbeing Caseworkers support students to address external barriers to their education. Wellbeing Caseworkers form intentional relationships with students so that their strengths, passions, interests, and unmet needs can be supported appropriately through the operation of the case work assessment, and case management. Wellbeing Caseworkers support students’ learning by coordinating support and assistance pathways both within the organisation’s multi-disciplinary team, and through external allied health and other community partners.
Vocational Education Training (VET) Youth Worker
The role of VET Coordinator primarily focused on supporting the VET Lead with the facilitation of vocational and education training to vulnerable young people. This will be achieved through maintaining the administrative requirements of VET programs, overseeing delivery of programs by external providers, facilitating VET classes and working with students (both individually and in class) to encourage their VET participation and progress.
Volunteer
Our versatile volunteer roles offer a unique opportunity to support students in an array of school lead programs such as in the classroom, as well as assist in the implementation of Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs and fostering student wellbeing. As a volunteer in this dynamic role, you will work closely with educators to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment for students. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting teachers and youth workers or it could be supporting in our wellbeing programs by supporting students one on one and or serving in the breakfast program space.
Placement Students (Teacher and Youth Workers)
By completing your pre-service rounds at one of our eleven Y Schools QLD you will learn how to support young people socially and emotionally through building positive relationships, develop and deliver engaging learning experiences, you will broaden your skills and learn from highly experienced staff.
